Privacy Policy

This page explains what information MaxVacay uses to build your travel-rewards plan, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.

Beta notice. MaxVacay is in an early public-beta stage. This policy is intended to accurately describe the current product and should be reviewed by qualified privacy counsel before a broad commercial launch.

Information we collect

Depending on which features you use, MaxVacay may process:

  • Account information such as your email address and authentication identifiers.
  • Household and trip information such as traveler labels, home airport, destinations, travel timing and preferences.
  • Travel-rewards information such as cards you say you own, points or miles balances, certificates, card benefits and welcome-bonus terms you enter.
  • Planning information such as rough monthly spending by category, optional cash comparisons and optional credit/application-timing information.
  • Support requests and feedback you submit.
  • Billing and subscription status from our payment processor when paid billing is enabled. MaxVacay does not need to store your full payment-card number.
  • Basic product analytics such as landing path, referral host, UTM campaign fields and product events used to understand signup, activation and retention.

If MaxVacay later enables optional connected financial or travel-data features for customers, those features should provide additional disclosure before you connect an account.

How we use information

  • Provide and personalize MaxVacay's deterministic card, spend, trip-funding and welcome-bonus tools.
  • Maintain account security and isolate each household's data.
  • Measure onboarding, product usefulness, reliability and retention.
  • Provide support, investigate bugs and respond to privacy or deletion requests.
  • Operate subscriptions and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized access.
  • Measure affiliate handoffs and confirmed partner compensation after a recommendation has been generated independently.

Service providers and partners

MaxVacay may use infrastructure, authentication, payment, analytics, AI or travel-data providers to operate specific features. We seek to send only the information needed for the feature. When you intentionally follow an outbound partner or affiliate link, that destination may receive normal web-request information and its own privacy policy applies.

Affiliate compensation does not determine MaxVacay's recommendation ranking.

AI features

MaxVacay's core recommendation engines are designed to rely on verified data and deterministic rules. If an AI-powered feature is enabled and you choose to use it, relevant context may be sent to the configured AI provider to produce that feature's response. AI output is not allowed to invent verified award availability, public offers or entitlement state.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve support issues and meet applicable obligations. MaxVacay uses authenticated account boundaries and server-side household resolution so customers cannot choose another household ID in customer requests. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can update many planning inputs from your account. You may also use the Support Center to request access, correction, privacy assistance or account/data deletion. If you cannot access your account, contact kyle@maxvacay.com.

We do not knowingly sell a customer's account or household profile for money. Some jurisdictions define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly; if you have a jurisdiction-specific request, submit it through Support.

Children

MaxVacay accounts are intended for adults. Household travelers may be represented by labels or trip counts, but children should not create their own MaxVacay accounts or submit personal information directly.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes should be reflected by a revised effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice.
